Although HOP is a DOS program, its user interface is very Windows-like and easy to work with.

The user interface consists of several pages like this. Each of HOP's mathematical and graphical special effects, every detail of the image or animation can be hand-tailored until it is perfect. In addition, there are many hotkeys which allow for direct image manipulation.

Popup menus and context sensitive help guide through HOP's many functions and options. There is even a Windows-like mouse cursor.
